Honing reamers
are also called reaming honing tools, grinding rods, and diamond reamers.
They are called single-stroke honing tools in European and American countries. The appearance structure of the honing reamer is similar to that of the commonly used carbide reamer, but there are several important differences.
The outer surface of the honing reamer is coated with a layer of high-grade diamond abrasives of equal particle size. The sharp corners exposed by these abrasive grains grind the hole wall, while the ordinary reamer scrapes the hole wall with the blade. The taper sleeve of the honing reamer and the tool shaft are matched with a small taper. Changing the matching position can change the outer diameter of the reamer.
The outer diameter of the honing reamer is also adjusted in this way. After the knife is worn out, it can expand, but ordinary carbide reamers do not have this function
